
On March 25, at the initiative of the Centre for China and Southeast Asia Studies, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Zhou Jian, and representatives of Georgian companies that are successfully operating with their products in the Chinese market. The meeting was attended by Beka Natsvlishvili, Director of the Centre for China and Southeast Asia Studies; Badri Nachkebia, Deputy Director of the centre; Ana Mirianashvili, Director of the ‘Chelti’ wine company; and Ilia Gepheridze, Director of the leather goods manufacturing company ‘Gepherrini’. The meeting served to promote Georgian products in China and to further deepen future trade relations between Georgian and Chinese companies
